Deslauriers Concrete Air Pressure Meter Kit
The Deslauriers Concrete Air Pressure Meter Kit is used for measuring the amount of entrained air in freshly mixed concrete. The test method equalizes a known volume of air in the pressure chamber, with the unknown value of entrained air in the meter’s concrete filled base. The amount of entrained air is then read on the meter’s gauge as the direct percentage of air entrained in the sample.
Constructed of cast aluminum, the meter is durable yet lightweight. Four one-piece, self-locking clamps have the proper tension for sealing the lid to the base.
A direct percentage-reading gauge with calibration adjustments is readable to the nearest 1/10 of a percent. The gauge is positioned for easy reading by the user.
The meter features an all brass pump with elongated stroke to build test pressure faster with fewer strokes. Its unique check valve eliminates “o”-ring seal problems associated with other style pumps.
The meter comes complete with heavy duty plastic carrying case, syringe, tamping rod, strike-off bar, calibration vessel and tubes with instructions and parts list.
