Concrete Specimen Grinding Machine
The Concrete Specimen Grinding Machine is an automatic system designed for grinding and polishing concrete cubes, cylinders, blocks, rock cores, natural stone, and ceramic materials. It is widely used in construction material testing laboratories where accuracy and repeatability are essential.
Specimens are securely mounted using locking stirrups for fast and accurate setup. A bench model is also available, featuring a hand-operated movable platform for precise positioning of cubes, cylinders, and rock cores.
Automatic & Efficient Grinding
The machine features a fully automatic grinding head with an end-of-stroke system. This allows bidirectional movement without manual operation, ensuring consistent and repeatable grinding results.
Multiple specimen types can be processed simultaneously, improving efficiency in concrete testing equipment workflows. A dry-grinding option is available through an integrated aspirator connector.
Precision Design & Durability
The abrasive head is motor-driven and provides radial movement in both directions. Vertical adjustment is controlled using a precision hand wheel with 0.05 mm increments, ensuring exact specimen preparation.
The fully protected column prevents abrasive dust from entering internal components, increasing durability and reducing maintenance. The rugged steel frame supports continuous use in demanding laboratory testing environments.
Standard Equipment Included
Each grinding machine system includes:
- Control panel
- Coolant and decantation tank
- Motor pump
- Standard abrasive grinding sectors
- Safety chip guard with automatic stop function
Diamond grinding sectors are available as optional accessories through concrete accessories and test equipment.
Available Models
- HC-2979.2F.3 — 220V, 60Hz, 3-Phase
- HC-2979.5F.3 — 220V, 50Hz, 3-Phase
Note: Specimen locking devices are not included. Users may select fast locking devices or locking stirrups for concrete specimens. Optional lateral brackets are available for 100 mm and 150 mm concrete cubes and can be easily mounted to the table.
