This automatic grinding machine is for grinding and polishing concrete cubes, cylinders, blocks, natural stones, rocks and ceramic materials. For efficient preparation of soil samples, consider using a soil grinder for reducing particle size in laboratory tests. Specimens are easily attached to the table with the proper locking stirrups, which are easily fixed for efficient setup. See chart for specimen types and sizes. A bench model version is available, featuring a hand operated movable specimen platform for precise positioning of concrete cubes, cylinders, and rock cores.

This unit has a grinding head compatible with grinding machine series and compatiblewith grinding machines and has end-of-stroke system, which allows full automatic displacement in both directions without pressing the electric button. This unit is for simultaneous grinding of different types of specimens, concrete cube, cylinders, blocks and rock, and can accommodate an additional cylindrical specimen or one additional cylindrical specimen for enhanced testing efficiency. Also for dry grinding, with an aspirator connector suitable fordry grinding procedure and designed to connect tothe grinding machine series. Motorized radial displacement of the abrasive head in both directions.

The abrasive head is radially and alternately moved in both directions by electric motor actuated by push button. The column is completely protected against abrasive dust. The grinding head can be lowered vertically 0.05mm by the top hand wheel with precise graduations. The machine is made of rugged plate for durability and comes with: control panel; coolant/decantation tank for water and emulsifying oil; motor pump; set of standard abrasive sectors (diamond abrasive sectors available as a premium option); safety chip guard that stops the machine if removed. Both models are 3-Phase and belong to grinding machine series.

NOTE: HC-2979 Grinding Machine comes with Standard Abrasive Grinding Sections, but specimen locking devices not included. Choose between Fast Locking Device or Locking Stirrups for your operation. Lateral brackets and lateral brackets suitable for locking 100 and 150 mm cubes are available and easily fixed to the table. Clamping devices and jigs support a range of core dia for concrete cores and cylinders.
