Crack Monitor Kits contain the products needed to monitor cracking in structural concrete. Crack Monitor components are also available separately as additional or replacement items see Crack Monitors.
The Concrete Crack Gauge Kit includes 5 Crack Monitor Plus units, 2 Corner Adapters and a crack width ruler with graduated lines to measure initial crack width. This transparent concrete ruler is a low cost alternative to more expensive measuring devices. The kit also includes 7 packs of 4 each 1in (#8) Philips wood fixing screws, 1 dispenser tube of rapid-set epoxy adhesive, an instruction manual and recording sheets. All components fit into a carry bag with shoulder strap.
The crack width ruler is for measuring cracks in concrete and other building materials. This is a practical and economical solution for inspectors.
What is a Concrete Crack Gauge Kit
Concrete crack gauge kits are a must have for inspectors and professionals in the building materials industry. These kits include a concrete crack ruler calculator, crack width gauge and other accessories. The concrete crack ruler calculator is a tool used to estimate the number of cubic yards of concrete required for a pour so you can get your calculations right for any job. The crack width gauge is for measuring the specified width and length of cracks in concrete structures, pavements and other materials. By using these tools together you can assess the severity of the crack and ensure the right amount of concrete is used for repairs and maintenance. This approach ensures the integrity and safety of concrete structures.

Measuring and Calculating Crack Severity
Measuring and calculating crack severity is a critical step in assessing damage to concrete structures. The crack width gauge is used to measure the specified width and length of cracks and the concrete crack ruler calculator is used to estimate the number of cubic yards of concrete required for repairs. To measure crack severity simply enter the specified width, length and thickness of the crack into the calculator and it will give you an estimate of the amount of concrete needed. This information is important to order the right amount of concrete from the supplier so the job can be done efficiently and effectively. By using these tools you can get repairs that are cost effective and durable.
Concrete Crack Gauge Kit Accessories
The concrete crack gauge kit may come with additional accessories to enhance its performance and longevity. These accessories may include a plastic sleeve for storage and protection, a carrying case for easy transport and a calibration certificate to ensure accuracy. Some kits may also come with a graduated microscope or other specialized tools to measure crack width and severity with precision. These accessories are important to maintain the reliability and accuracy of the kit over time so it’s a worthwhile investment for professionals in the building materials industry.
