Chace Air Indicator Kit is a low cost tool for quick estimation of air content and air voids in fresh concrete. This is a field test to supplement conventional air meter tests. A sample of cement paste and fine aggregate is placed in the brass cup/rubber stopper assembly, then inserted into the glass vial. The vial is filled with isopropyl alcohol to the top graduation. Percent air is determined by the number of lines the alcohol drops in the stem of the vial after agitation.

Kit includes Glass Vial, Brass Cup w/ Rubber Stopper, Cleaning Brush, Alcohol Fully Squeezed Bottle, instructions, and Plastic Case.
