Features and Specifications
The GPC general purpose chamber furnace is designed to perform and be reliable. With capacities from 131 to 400 liters it covers a wide range of laboratory applications. The furnace has a maximum operating temperature of 1300°C for precise temperature control and stability for all processes.
The refractory hearth plate keeps the surface away from the furnace walls. This design gives even heating and minimises thermal shock. The large door opening with lifting device makes loading and unloading of materials easy even for heavy loads.
The surface area is up to 0.5m² for efficient heating of samples. With laboratory chamber volumes up to 400 liters this furnace is suitable for large laboratory applications. Modified atmospheres can be achieved with metallic retorts or other accessories making it a versatile tool for all laboratory needs.
Safety and Reliability
Safety and reliability is key in the design of the GPC general purpose laboratory chamber furnace. The robust and durable construction has a large floor-standing model to handle heavy loads. The user friendly interface and accessible components makes controls simplifies maintenance and repair easy for long life.
Ethernet communications for remote monitoring and control for user convenience and efficiency. The laboratory chamber furnace has a door that keeps the heated surface away from the user reducing the risk of burns and injury. Meets international safety standards CE, UL and CSA.
The laboratory chamber furnace is thermally efficient to give optimal performance and reduce energy consumption and costs making it a cost effective for laboratories.
Laboratory Applications
The GPC general purpose chamber furnace is versatile and suitable for all laboratory applications. Ideal for thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and other thermal analysis techniques for accurate and reliable results. Perfect for heat treatment, annealing and brazing of metals and ceramics.
In research and development the furnace is for materials testing and characterisation so ideal for universities and research institutions. Also suitable for cleanrooms and hazardous locations and can achieve modified atmospheres with additional accessories.
Can be connected to other laboratory equipment like balances and spectrometers for integrated analysis and testing to make it part of the overall laboratory workflow.
