The Bronze Porous Stone measures 4in (101.6mm) in diameter and 0.25in (6.4mm) in thickness, crafted from high-quality sintered bronze. This durable disc is designed to support cylindrical soil samples while enabling two-way fluid flow.

We provide a full range of Porous Stones for various geotechnical lab applications, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, and consolidation tests.

Porous Stones facilitate the flow and measurement of water or other permeants during testing while preventing fine particles from contaminating the system. Our high-quality stones feature a permeability range of 15–18ft³ (424–510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179μm. All stones are in stock and ready for immediate shipment.
