The Porous Stone measures 4.49in (114.0mm) in diameter, 0.25in (6.4mm) in thickness, and is crafted from durable aluminum oxide material. Designed to support both ends of cylindrical soil samples, it allows two-way fluid flow during testing.

We offer a wide range of Porous Stones suitable for various geotechnical laboratory applications, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, consolidation, and more.

Porous Stones facilitate water and other permeants to flow during testing while preventing fine particles from contaminating the system. These high-quality stones feature a permeability range of 15-18ft³ (424-510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179μm. All porous stones are in stock and ready for immediate shipment.
