4,000 mL Pyrex Glass Filtering Flask, Heavy-Walled, Side Tubulation
Filter Flask, 4000ml, w/3/8" ID, Side-Tubulation - Heavy-duty 2,000/4,000ml sizes have thick wall for max. strength. Glass is chemical, heat and wear resistant.
Filter Flasks are thick-walled Pyrex® glass and have side tubulation for .375in (9.5mm) I.D. vacuum tubing. When used in conjunction with Indicating Drierite Granules filter flasks can be used as a moisture trap for vacuum pump protection. Neoprene Stoppers and Neoprene Stoppers w/ Glass Tube is available to fit each size of the filter flask.
4,000ml Flask also meets ASTM and AASHTO standards specifications for use as a vacuum container for weighing in the air only. The 4,000 mL Pyrex Glass Filtering Flask uses a No. 12 Stopper or No. 12 Stopper w/ Glass Tube.
