This Bronze Porous Stone measures 2in (50.8mm) in diameter, 0.125in (3.1mm) in thickness, and is made from high-quality sintered bronze. Designed for geotechnical testing, it serves as a rigid disc to support cylindrical soil samples while enabling two-way fluid flow.

We provide a wide range of Porous Stones suitable for various laboratory geotechnical applications, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, and consolidation tests.

Porous Stones facilitate the flow and measurement of water or other permeants during testing while minimizing the migration of fine particles into the testing system. These high-quality stones feature a permeability range of 15-18ft³ (424-510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179μm. All porous stones are readily available for immediate shipment.
