A single button on the touchscreen controller starts a fully automated test cycle, handling specimen contact, pre-loading, load rate, break detection, data collection, and piston reset in compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, and other standards. This ensures consistent, accurate results for every test.

Operators can easily select test methods, input sample data, and adjust parameters via the intuitive touchscreen interface. Real-time force, stress, and load rate are displayed during testing, with optional live graphs for load vs. time or stress vs. strain. The machine’s feedback system precisely controls load application, while USB, LAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity allow seamless data transfer or immediate test printing. Error-free reporting is supported by stored lab, sample, and client data.

Safety is a priority, with features like an emergency-stop button, hydraulic safety relief valve, piston over-travel limit switch, and fragment guard door. The diagnostics system provides instant status updates on key components, ensuring fault conditions are addressed before testing resumes.

The integrated electric motor and hydraulic pump run efficiently at variable speeds, minimizing noise and preventing pressure variations caused by overheating. The top-mounted piston avoids wear from debris, extending the machine’s longevity.
