2.5in Shelby Tube Permeameter
The Shelby Tube Permeameter is designed for conducting constant or falling head hydraulic conductivity tests on undisturbed soil samples. It accommodates Shelby sampling tubes with diameters of 2in, 2.5in, or 3in (50.8mm, 63.5mm, or 76.2mm).
Made from corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum, the permeameter features a durable top and base that securely hold the Shelby tube in a vertical position using three threaded tie rods with clamping nuts. It supports sample heights ranging from 2in (51mm) to 6in (152mm) for all compatible tube diameters. The concave top cap includes a bleed-off valve for effective sample de-airing.
Each Shelby Tube Permeameter comes fully equipped with an anodized aluminum top and base, inlet and outlet valves, a bleed-off valve, two porous stones, O-rings, three threaded tie rods with clamping nuts, and 10ft (3.0m) of 1/4in ID tubing.

Ideal for testing the permeability of undisturbed soil samples in 2.5in (63.5mm) diameter Shelby tubes.
