The Karol-Warner 2.5in Floating-Ring Consolidometer is designed for use with Karol-Warner and other manufacturers' consolidation load frames. Its innovative design features a detachable sample ring supported by the specimen’s friction, ensuring loads are applied evenly to both the top and bottom of the soil sample. The unit includes a stainless steel base with an acrylic see-through inundation ring, a stainless steel sample ring with a cutting edge, a load pad, a load-bearing ball, and top and bottom porous stones. Replacement components are available separately. The Consolidometer is compatible with most standard testing units.
