This Porous Stone, measuring 2.5in (63.5mm) in diameter and 0.25in (6.4mm) thick, is crafted from high-quality aluminum oxide. Designed to support cylindrical soil samples, it allows two-way fluid flow during testing procedures.

We provide a full range of Porous Stones for various geotechnical laboratory applications, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, and consolidation tests. These stones enable the flow and measurement of water and other permeants while preventing fine particles from entering the test system. With a permeability range of 15-18ft³ (424-510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179µm, our high-quality stones are ready for immediate shipment.
