This Porous Stone is designed with precision for geotechnical laboratory applications. Measuring 2.47in (62.7mm) in diameter and 0.50in (12.7mm) thick, it is made from durable aluminum oxide material. The rigid disc supports cylindrical soil samples while ensuring two-way fluid flow.

We provide a full range of Porous Stones tailored for various laboratory tests, including triaxial shear, permeability, direct shear, and consolidation. These stones allow water or other permeants to flow and be measured during testing while preventing fine particles from entering the system. With a permeability range of 15–18ft³ (424–510L) of air per square foot and an average pore size of 179µm, these high-quality stones deliver reliable performance.
