2.42in Square Shear Box

Shear Boxes are essential for testing the direct or residual shear strength of soil specimens, compatible with Karol-Warner Dead-Weight and Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. These horizontally divided boxes are available in both inch and metric sizes, with round or square designs, and are made from durable anodized aluminum with a Teflon® finish for corrosion resistance. Each shear box includes two Porous Stones.

2.42in (61.5mm) Shear Box

This square shear box is designed for testing soil specimens for direct and residual shear strength using Karol-Warner Dead-Weight Direct or Pneumatic Direct/Residual Shear Machines. The horizontally divided design allows for opposing shear forces to be applied to the specimen. It is constructed from anodized aluminum with a corrosion-resistant Teflon® finish and comes with a top and bottom Porous Stone, as well as a Loading Ball.
