AMS Soil Fertility Kits: Everything You Need for Accurate Soil Sampling

AMS Soil Fertility Kits are designed for agronomists and soil fertility experts to efficiently collect samples from various soil conditions. Each kit includes all the tools you need to ensure accurate sampling.

Key components include a replaceable-tip soil probe available in two sizes (1" x 14" or 1-1/4" x 14") and four interchangeable tips—standard oversized, clay, mud, and serrated. These tips enhance sample recovery across diverse soil types.

For 1-1/4" Soil Fertility Kits, a plastic liner and two plastic end caps are included (not applicable for 1" kits). Use the 10" rubber-gripped cross handle and, if necessary, the AMS adjustable footstep in soft, moist, or tilled soils. For dry, hard-packed soils, employ the compact slide hammer or the hammer-head cross handle paired with a dead blow hammer to drive the soil probe. The slide hammer also features reverse hammering to assist with sampler retrieval.
