Dryer Vent: If using for dryer vent do not order with screen. Order with flapper only. A screen can catch the lint from your dryer and cause a fire hazard.

Intake Vent: If using as intake vent note or to exhaust fireplace order with screen only. The one way air damper (flapper) only lets air out to avoid fire hazard.

This product is great for venting solutions for many applications in construction and renovation.

Which Mount?

Thunderbird Vents come in two styles:

• Flush mount, use if siding is already installed or if building is brick or stone. This mount is weather tight.

• Stucco mount has a flashing and is to be installed before siding is installed. This mount makes installation easy and is best used with stucco or wood/vinyl siding (stucco mount vents must be installed under siding and water-proofing).
