12in Basic Hay and Forage Probe
Get precise and reliable core samples with our Hay & Forage Probes. Designed to collect 12" or 24" representative samples, these probes are perfect for visual inspections and lab analysis. Featuring a 7/8" heat-treated serrated tip and chamfered extraction slot, they deliver consistent, accurate results. For optimal performance, use the Hay Core Probe Plunger after each sample to prevent compaction.
Basic Hay & Forage Probes allow you to empty samples into a bucket or bag, while Deluxe Probes include a plastic liner that holds up to 20 samples. The liner can be easily removed by unscrewing the top cap, which also features a built-in 1/2" drill adapter.
Made from durable chromoly with gold-zinc plating, our probes are built to last. Both the 12" and 24" models require a 1/2" chuck drill (24V recommended) for operation.
