1.875in (47.5mm) Two-Part Vacuum Split Mold is used when compacting non-cohesive soils for remolded permeability or triaxial testing. When vacuum is applied, the latex membrane is pulled to the sides.
Features:
- Designed for compaction of non-cohesive soils

The Two-Part Vacuum Split Mold is an essential accessory when preparing non-cohesive soil samples for triaxial or flex-wall permeability testing. The mold consists of an aluminum cylinder with a tube for attachment to the user’s vacuum source. With the vacuum applied, the latex membrane is drawn against the inside surface, and the soil can be easily compacted. Molds are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate your specimen’s dimensions.
