The 930 measures moisture in your wood from the surface down to .25” (6.4mm) in shallow mode or from the surface down to .75” (19mm) in deep scan mode.

IntelliSense™ Technology

Orion 910, 930, 940, 950 pinless wood moisture meters have IntelliSense™ technology in their ¾” (19mm) deep reading modes. This allows for accurate measurement of moisture deeper in the wood while minimizing the effect of surface moisture on the meter readings. Pin-type meters can bypass the surface conditions but they also damage the surface of the wood every time you take a reading.

Fast Species Settings

With up/down arrow buttons, your Orion 930 can be set for the wood species you need to measure in seconds. Plus the range of settings covers almost any softwood or hardwood species in the world. The 930 can also be set to measure some non-solid wood products like plywood, OSB or MDF. Orion meters also have species settings for many bamboo flooring products.

Non-Damaging Pinless Sensor
