The VELAB VE-B5 Binocular Microscope for Clinical Diagnosis (Intermediate) is a professional-grade microscope designed to meet the needs of researchers, educators, and clinical laboratory professionals. The VE-B5 features a binocular Siedentopf-type head, which is inclined at 45 degrees and offers 360-degree rotation. With interpupillary distance adjustment between 48 - 75mm / 1.88” - 2.95”, this microscope can be customized for individual user comfort. The quadruple nosepiece with anti-slip ring and click-stops allows for seamless objective changes, making it quick and easy to switch between magnifications.
Equipped with four objectives, including 4X, 10X, 40X (retractable), and 100X (retractable) oil immersion, this microscope provides high-quality imaging with infinity-corrected achromatic optics. The metallic finish and color ring on the objectives ensure easy identification. The sturdy and robust body of the microscope is reinforced with an epoxy paint finish for durability.
The VE-B5 features a dual-plate stage with X-Y coaxial movement, allowing for precise specimen positioning. With a size of 150 x 132 mm / 5.90” x 5.11”, the stage offers ample space for various samples. The stage also includes a vernier, millimeter scale, clamp, and height adjustment with a stop. The Abbe condenser with an adjustable height screw ensures optimal illumination and sharpness.
This microscope is equipped with a Kohler LED illumination system, which provides variable intensity control and a field diaphragm in the lamp. This ensures consistent and bright illumination for accurate and detailed observations. The microscope can be powered by either three 1.2V AA rechargeable batteries (included) for up to 4 hours of continuous operation, or a 110-240V, 50/60 Hz AC adapter.
With dimensions of 10.43″ x 16.92″ x 11.61″, the VE-B5 is a compact microscope that can be easily transported and stored. It comes with several accessories, including blue, green, and yellow filters, a dust cover, immersion oil, an operation manual, and a power cord.
Please note that the phase contrast kit and polarization set are not included with the microscope but can be optionally added for enhanced functionality.
