Unconfined Digital Component Set with 1,000lbf Load Cell

Unconfined Compression Component Sets are ideal for performing unconfined compression tests on soils in compliance with ASTM D2166 and AASHTO T 208 standards. Available in both analog and digital versions, these sets include high-quality instrumentation for precise load and displacement measurements. They are compatible with Gilson Load Frames as well as most other manufacturers' equipment. Individual components can also be purchased separately.

Digital Sets include a 1,000lbf (4.4kN) Load Cell, two 2.8x0.25in (71.1x6.4mm) Plastic Discs, a Linear Variable Displacement Transducer (LVDT) with Bracket, and a Two-Channel Data Readout. An optional Data Readout Mounting Bracket is available for convenient positioning. Additionally, Gilson’s Data Acquisition Software can be purchased separately to provide real-time test data, perform calculations, and generate reports in compliance with ASTM and AASHTO guidelines.
