Triax Touch gMax Impact Tester with Guide Tube and Hard Case

The Triax Touch gMax Impact Tester is intended to measure the impact of artificial and natural turf playing surfaces. This device allows quick gMax testing for safe playing conditions and is in compliance with standards including ASTM F1936 and ASTM F355. The hammer has a cylindrical shape with a weight of 20.0 pounds and is dropped in a guide tube from a fixed height of 24 inches.

The Triax Touch gMax Impact Tester comes with a wireless handheld controller that is small, lightweight and portable. The Triax Touch gMax Impact Tester system also includes a PC application that speeds the creation and archiving of test reports, which show all impact test data along with the date/time stamp and user comments. The test results cannot be altered, particularly important to risk managers wanting to ensure data has not been tampered with should a legal action occur over safety of the playing surface.
