The United Scientific FHSSR25 Support Screen is a high-quality and durable addition to any laboratory. Made from premium-grade stainless steel, this support screen is both sturdy and resistant to wear and tear. The screen features a 25mm diameter, making it ideal for use with vacuum filters of a similar size. The support screen comes with a No. 5 perforated silicone stopper, which makes it easy to attach to a vacuum filtering flask.
Please note, however, that the support screen is not suitable for use with thick prefilters or laminated filters, nor is it autoclavable with membrane filters installed. Instead, unlaminated PTFE or PVDF membranes are recommended for solvent applications.
The complete set includes a borosilicate glass funnel and base, removable stainless steel screen filter support, anodized aluminum spring clamp, and silicone stopper. All of the parts are also available separately, making it easy to replace or upgrade individual components as needed.
