Strike Off Bar, Aluminum, 2 x 18in

The Strike Off Bar, Aluminum, 1 x 12 inches, is 3/16" thick and is used to strike off the top surface of the concrete by sliding the strike-off bar across the top flange or rim of the base with a sawing motion until the bowl is just level full, as per ASTM C231. The rim of the base is machined to exact planeness. Used to remove excess material when molding concrete cylinder specimens, conducting slump cone tests, unit weight measures, volumetair, roller meter and pressure meter tests.
