The Strike Off Concrete Bar, Aluminum, 1 x 13 1/2 inches, is used to strike off the top surface of the concrete by sliding the strike-off concrete bar across the top flange or rim of the base with a sawing motion until the bowl is just level full, as per ASTM C231. The rim of the base is machined to exact planeness.
