Deslauriers Heavy Duty Steel Column forms produce a very smooth, hard surface with minimal voids and few seams, unlike the plastic column forms. The forms are galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48” in diameter) bolted together for crane handling on the job site, so one column can be produced per day.
Only one vertical seam and horizontal seams, opened and closed with each pour, are bolted together with high speed bolts for fast setting and stripping.
In addition to the standard column diameters listed, custom diameters and lengths are available.
Lateral pressure should not exceed 3000 PSF on forms through 36” diameter or 2000 PSF on forms over 36” diameter.
