Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming, 22in Dia X 8ft
Deslauriers Heavy Duty Steel Column forms develop an exceptionally smooth, hard surface remarkably free of voids and with a minimum number of indistinct seams. The forms are galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections (for forms over 48" in diameter) bolted into units for crane handling on the jobsite.
Vertical and horizontal seams, opened and closed with each pour, are connected with high speed bolts to speed setting and stripping.
In addition to the standard column diameters shown, custom diameters and lengths are also available.
Lateral pressure should not exceed 3000 PSF on forms through 36" diameter or 2000 PSF on forms over 36" diameter.
Built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes on most 4ft and 8ft forms. Lifting design of 4000 pound per hole or 8000 pounds assembled. Deslauriers recommends using lifting spreader bar for lifting all column forms.
The Heavy Duty Steel Column Form for Concrete Forming is an essential tool for contractors and construction workers looking to create sturdy and reliable concrete columns. With a diameter of 22 inches and a height of 8 feet, this column form is designed to provide exceptional durability and strength.
One of the standout features of this column form is its smooth and hard surface. The galvanized constant radius steel half round sections and quarter round sections ensure a surface that is free of voids and has minimal seams, resulting in a high-quality finish. These sections are bolted into units, making them easy to handle and transport on the job site using a crane.
Setting up and stripping the form is made quick and efficient with the high-speed bolts that connect the vertical and horizontal seams. Each pour can be made seamlessly, and the form can be easily opened and closed as needed. For added convenience, the form comes with built-in 1-1/2" lifting holes on most 4ft and 8ft forms, allowing for easy lifting using a lifting spreader bar. The form has a lifting capacity of 4000 pounds per hole or 8000 pounds when fully assembled.
Aside from the standard column diameters and lengths offered, custom options are also available to suit specific project requirements. The column forms are capable of withstanding lateral pressure up to 3000 PSF for forms up to 36" in diameter and 2000 PSF for larger forms.
