How It Works:

Simply aim the thermometer at walls, ceilings, or other surfaces. The large, multi-line backlit LCD display provides an instant reading of the surface temperature. Simultaneously, the device measures the ambient air temperature, relative humidity, and calculates the dew point.

The thermometer's core feature is its ability to compare the surface temperature to the calculated dew point. As the surface temperature gets closer to the dew point, the risk of condensation—and therefore mold—increases. The device provides clear, color-coded alerts:

• Green LED: No immediate risk of condensation.
• Yellow LED: The surface temperature is approaching the dew point. Caution is advised.
• Red LED & Audible Alarm: The surface temperature is at or below the dew point, indicating that condensation is likely. These are high-risk zones for mold and mildew growth.
