The Speedy 2000 Moisture Testers provide a fast, accurate, and reliable solution for moisture testing across a variety of materials, including sand, aggregates, soils, coal, ceramics, abrasives, ores, and powders. These portable, easy-to-use testers eliminate the need for a power supply and allow on-site testing within minutes, reducing the risk of moisture loss during transport.

To perform a test, simply place a weighed sample in the tester, add a measured quantity of Calcium Carbide Reagent (sold separately due to shipping restrictions), and seal the cap. Agitating the sample triggers a reaction between the moisture and the reagent, producing acetylene gas, which is measured on the built-in gauge. Results are displayed in percent moisture by weight in just 1–3 minutes. Doubling the moisture range is possible by using half the sample weight and doubling the gauge reading.

Four models of Speedy 2000 Moisture Testers are available, catering to different materials, moisture ranges, and accuracy requirements. Each kit comes complete with all necessary testing components, packed in a durable, waterproof case. The testers feature a polished, die-cast aluminum pressure chamber with an integral gauge for precise readings.
