Soil Cement Tamping Rod, 1/2" Dia. x 20" L
Tamping Rod only for Soil Cement Apparatus is used in the preparation of soil-cement specimens for compressive strength testing in accordance with requirements of ASTM D1632 Method B. A pre-weighed soil-cement sample is first consolidated into the mold assembly using the Tamping Rod, before final consolidation with the Dropping Weight Compactor to achieve the required length dimension. The straight steel rod is 0.5x20in (12.7x508mm) Dia.xL.
Features:
- Made of rugged steel
- Required for initial consolidation in soil-cement testing with Dropping Weight Compactor
