Rod Spacer for FieldScout Moisture Meter, 1/2in and 1/4in Depth
The FieldScout Moisture Meter Rod Spacer enhances the functionality of the FieldScout TDR350 or TDR150 Moisture Sensors with 1.5" spikes, allowing them to measure volumetric soil moisture at shallower depths of 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) or 1/2 inch (12.7 mm).
This tool is perfect for monitoring moisture in the thatch layer of greens, as well as in artificial turf, including newer varieties with coconut husk or other organic fillers and fibers.
Switching between depths is easy—just flip the unit over and adjust the thumb screws to the second set of holes.
Note: Compatible with the MSFS-TDR350-1.5 (Field Scout TDR 350 Digital Moisture Sensor with 1.5" probes) or MSFS-TDR150-W (Field Scout Handheld Digital Moisture Sensor TDR150 with 1.5" probes). Both sold separately.
Please note that this spacer is designed exclusively for use with 1.5" rods due to specific internal settings of the TDR350 and TDR150 sensors.
