The Rapid Chloride Permeability Cell is expertly designed to securely hold 4x2in (100x50mm) concrete cores or cylinder specimens, facilitating precise testing with a Rapid Chloride Permeability Tester. This robust cell features two fluid reservoirs at its ends—one designated for a negative charge and the other for a positive charge—to accurately measure electrical current flow through the concrete specimen. Each of the two durable plexiglass end caps is fitted with an embedded conductive mesh and all necessary electrical connections for seamless operation. The specimen is firmly sealed within the cell using four corner bolts and two internal gaskets, ensuring a watertight and secure testing environment. For immediate connectivity, two connecting wires are included with each cell, ready to link to your Permeability Tester.

This cell is ideal for use with 4in diameter specimens. For those working with 100mm (3.9in) specimens, Sealing Rings are available (sold separately) to ensure a perfect fit within the 4in cell.
