150ml Porcelain Dish Evaporating
The 150ml porcelain evaporating is a type of laboratory glassware container used for evaporating processes, such as the evaporation of liquids and solutions to produce a solid substance or concentrated solutions. It can also be used to evaporate supernatant liquids after centrifugation or settling processes. Dishes have a shallow flat round surface to promote evaporation, featuring a flat bottom and straight sides, as well as a lip for easy pouring. The rim is an integral part of the dish’s structure, aiding in handling and pouring. They are made of heat-tolerant glazed porcelain and have a pouring spout for easy sample transfer. The interior is glazed inside for chemical resistance and ease of cleaning, except for rim, which remains unglazed. Porcelain evaporating dish is inert, making it suitable for use with a wide range of chemicals. Some evaporating dishes are also available with a round bottom for specific laboratory applications. PTFE evaporating dishes are also available, offering inertness and suitability for laboratory use. The porcelain evaporating dish can withstand temperatures up to 1470°F (800°C), and is appropriate for use under high-temperature laboratory conditions. They are available in varying capacities and diameters.
