Original Gas Vapor Probe Kit
The Original Gas Vapor Probe (GVP) Kit is designed for shallow gas vapor sampling in easily penetrable soils, making it ideal for preliminary testing. To operate, connect the Cross Handle or optional Slide Hammer to the GVP string using the Cross Handle/Slide Hammer Adapter. Insert the Liner Rod into the Base Section while driving the GVP to prevent soil from entering. Both the Liner Rod and Base Section feature threaded Couplings that can attach to an Extension with a Liner Rod. When collecting a soil gas sample, replace the Cross Handle/Slide Hammer Adapter with the Barbed Adapter.
Note: The Original GVP Kit includes both 1/2" National Fine and 5/8" National Coarse connection types.
