The Seedburo Open Handle Dual-Tubed Probe has 10 openings that are non-partitioned has extruded brass construction and durable cast bronze points. The 62in (1,270mm) probe diameter is 1-3/8in (34.9mm), and has a rotating inner tube to open or close sampling holes. Total sample is easily emptied through the open-ended handle. This probe works well for sampling foods, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals and other dry materials.. Seedburo probes are made to conform to USDA specifications. They are constructed from extra heavy gauge tubing for durable, time-tested sampling.
Open-ended probes without partitions are more convenient to empty and are widely used by the grain elevator operators for obtaining samples from truck loads. After sample is obtained, probe is held upright and sample is dumped from the handle.
