Industrial Furnace Muffle, Digital, Max. Temp. 2000F (1093C), 95.7L
Muffle, Digital, Max. Temp. 2000F (1093C), 95.7L
3.38ft³ (95.7L) Muffle Furnace with touchscreen controller. Chamber furnaces are often used interchangeably with muffle furnaces due to their precise temperature control and uniform heating. MF-8A has a max temp of 2,000°F (1,093°C).
Front open door model with built-in stand that lifts the firing chamber off the worktable so no extra stand is needed. Chamber interior walls are 2.5in (63.5mm) thick refractory firebrick and heating elements are mounted inside the firebrick for easy access. Ceramic hearth plate protects the bottom heating element and other heating elements for safety and efficiency. Meets strict quality standards for reliability and durability.
When the door is opened the heating elements stop; the open door can be used to hold trays for loading or unloading. Touchscreen controller has multiple programming options, adjust during firing, alarm, error codes and more. Can store up to 30 user programs, 32 segments per program and is Wi-Fi enabled.

Compact design and safety features make it perfect for small scale treatment and laboratory applications. Whether you are researching or testing, this muffle furnace delivers the performance and reliability you need.
Operating and Maintenance
Proper operation and regular maintenance is essential to ensure safe operation and long life of any muffle furnace especially in demanding laboratory and industrial applications. The heart of every muffle furnace is its heating elements which are designed to withstand high temperatures and deliver precise control across a wide temperature range. To maintain optimal performance it is important to regularly inspect these elements for signs of wear or damage as their condition directly impacts the furnace’s ability to reach and sustain its maximum temperature.
For benchtop muffle furnaces used in universities, research labs and production facilities the design and construction of the equipment plays a crucial role in meeting the specific needs of each application. The furnace’s chamber size, robust construction and well-sealed are all designed to ensure operation and prevent loss even during high temperature processes like annealing and sintering. Regularly check the seal and overall construction to maintain a consistent internal environment and support precise control.
To avoid overtemperature protection issues calibrate the furnace’s temperature control system periodically. This ensures the equipment responds to setpoints and maintains temperature throughout the program. Many modern muffle furnaces have programmable controllers with customizable time and temperature settings which should be reviewed and set according to your lab process requirements.
Regular maintenance tasks like cleaning the chamber, inspecting the elements and verifying the safety features are crucial to prevent equipment failure and extend the life of the furnace. Users should read the manufacturer’s instructions for installation, operation and maintenance to use the furnace correctly and safely. Addressing common issues like temperature fluctuations or unexpected shutdowns promptly can help minimize downtime and ensure the furnace meets the high expectations of lab users.
