Moisture Cabinet for Curing Mortar and Concrete Test Specimens
Moist Cabinet for Curing Mortar and Concrete Test Specimens with Humidity Control
Moisture Cabinet can be used for curing mortar and concrete test specimens. This humidity cabinet has an 11ft³ (311.5L) chamber capacity and a heated, triple-pane glass door to minimize condensation for observation of specimens.
We have various models available: full-size, three-fourths size, half-size, under-counter, and counter-top models to fit your space and functionality needs.
Temperature range is 32°–140°F (0°–60°C) with 0.2°F (0.1°C) increments. Heat output is 1750W (6,000BTUH) at 220V and 1600W (5,500BTUH) at 240V. Humidity controls are 1.0% increments and up to 95% humidity. Remote alarms and RS-232 interface for temperature and humidity so you can monitor and acquire data with your PC.
Positive horizontal airflow ensures temperature uniformity to ±0.6°F at 77°–98.6°F (±0.3°C at 25°–37°C). Uniformity at 0–25°C and 37–60°C is ±0.5°C. Chamber temperature and humidity are displayed on LED. Audible and visible alarms for temperature and humidity out of range.
Three stainless steel shelves with 50lb (23kg) capacity, adjustable on 2in (50mm) centers. Up to eleven shelves fit in the 31x27x24in (78.7x68.6x60.9cm) 20-gauge stainless steel chamber. Exterior case is 18-gauge powder-coated steel. Inquire about additional standard or perforated stainless steel shelves.
Two 600 Watt wire-wound elements for heat. Cooling is 1/4hp, non-CFC compressor. Steam generator for chamber. User supplied water source must be 50K-ohm to 1meg-ohm resistance.

Moist Cabinets
Moist cabinets, also known as humidity-controlled storage cabinets, are made to maintain a stable and controlled environment for storing moisture-sensitive products. These cabinets have advanced humidity control systems so you can set and maintain a specific relative humidity (RH) level, usually between 30% to 80% RH. This precise control makes them ideal for storing sensitive equipment, electronics and other items that require a controlled environment to prevent moisture damage. For applications that require ultra-low RH levels, desiccant dry cabinets and low humidity storage solutions are also available. These specialized cabinets are designed to maintain ultra-low humidity so your moisture-sensitive products are protected and last longer.
Features and Benefits
Moist cabinets have advanced humidity control systems, adjustable temperature and storage capacity. They are designed to maintain a stable environment to prevent moisture damage and extend the life of your stored materials. The benefits of using moist cabinets are many: they improve product quality by providing optimal storage conditions, reduce maintenance costs by preventing moisture damage, increase storage and handling efficiency. Many moist cabinets also come with doors, shelves and drawers so they are versatile for many applications. For ultra-low humidity conditions, dry cabinets are available to store moisture-sensitive devices and materials so they stay in pristine condition.
Applications and Uses
Moist cabinets have many applications and uses so they are essential in many industries. They are perfect for storing electronics, optics, cameras and laboratory equipment where specific humidity and temperature settings are critical. Industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and food processing use these cabinets to store sensitive materials and products. For example, desiccant dry cabinets are ideal for storing moisture-sensitive devices while low humidity storage solutions cater to materials that require ultra-low RH levels. In research and development, quality control and testing applications, moist cabinets provide the controlled environment needed for accurate and reliable results.
