Mini Pulverizer
The Mini Pulverizer is an indispensable tool for laboratories requiring precise, small-scale grinding of various materials. Designed for efficiency and accuracy, this compact unit allows for the swift and consistent preparation of samples up to 20g, with a maximum feed size of 1/8in (3.2mm). It's engineered to deliver consistent particle size reduction, making it ideal for analytical and testing applications where sample integrity and reproducibility are paramount.
Achieve unparalleled precision with the Mini Pulverizer’s adjustable grinding plates, which enable fine-tuning of material reduction to particle sizes ranging from No.40 to No.140 (425–106µm). This exceptional control ensures your samples meet specific analytical requirements. A key advantage of this system is its superior sample recovery; nearly all ground material can be easily brushed out, drastically minimizing sample loss and improving the accuracy of subsequent analyses while reducing waste.
The unit comes equipped with durable 1.625in (41mm) diameter high-density alumina ceramic grinding plates, renowned for their exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and chemical inertness. To further extend the lifespan of these critical components, a clever switch reverses the direction of plate rotation, ensuring even wear and potentially doubling their operational life up to 3,000 samples. For processing exceptionally hard or abrasive materials like minerals or ceramics, an optional Tungsten Carbide Plate Set is available separately, providing enhanced durability and grinding capability.
Built for reliable performance, the pulverizer features a cam-actuated closure for secure and easy operation. Its robust 1/3hp capacitor-start motor delivers consistent power, while sealed bearings ensure smooth, maintenance-free operation and longevity. The motor is mounted on rubber feet, effectively dampening vibrations for quieter performance and enhanced stability during use. This versatile unit is available in models compatible with both 115V, 60Hz (4 Amps) and 230V, 50Hz electrical supplies, ensuring suitability for a wide range of laboratory environments globally.
