Mini Concrete Curing Box (75qt. Heat Only): Concrete Curing Box Specifications
The Mini Concrete Curing Box (75qt. Heat Only) is our most popular choice for concrete curing—without breaking the bank. We've designed it to be the most economical way to store and transport concrete test specimens, including those pesky concrete cylinders. Built like a hard-sided cooler, this box is both durable and thermally efficient.
That first, crucial curing phase is where the Mini Concrete Curing Box really shines. By maintaining the right temperature (60°-80°F or 16°-27°C) for that initial curing period, you can ensure your test specimens turn out just right.
Thermostatically controlled for that "set it and forget it" ease, this mini concrete testing box is perfect for curing test specimens during the fall and winter. And at one-third the cost of some other models out there, it's a no-brainer. Plus, its portability makes it a cinch to use on any job site. (Check out our full range of concrete curing and testing equipment while you're at it.)

Lightweight Perfa-Cure Curing Boxes maintain the required initial curing temperatures of 60°–80°F (16°–27°C). They store concrete test cylinders and cubes. Simply plug it in, set the thermostat to your desired temperature and you're good to go. Our boxes meet ASTM C31 and AASHTO T 23 standards for field curing of test specimens.
The hard-sided insulated curing box has tie-down slots for transport and a rubber lid gasket to keep internal temperatures stable. The Heater Panel on the inner lid and the cooling units are replaceable. A max-min registering thermometer is mounted inside the box to monitor temperature conditions. The heating panel uses a safe aluminum base to radiate heat.

The V004.ACM-CURE ELITE MINI Mini Concrete Curing Box (75qt. heat Only) from Certified MTP is the perfect tool for curing hydraulic cement concrete. This compact and efficient curing box is a must-have for construction professionals—especially in areas like Long Island, New York; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Tampa, Florida.
Why it's a must-have:
-
Compact: The "Mini" in its name means 75qt capacity. It's smaller than the others, but still big enough to cure multiple test cylinders. Perfect for projects with limited space or for use in the lab.
-
Heat Only: The V004.ACM-CURE ELITE MINI is heat only, which is what's needed for curing hydraulic cement concrete—especially in cooler climates or colder seasons. This ensures the concrete matures properly and develops the required strength and durability.
-
For Hydraulic Cement Concrete: The curing box is designed for hydraulic cement concrete—a popular material in construction because of its strength and durability. The controlled environment of the box is what's needed for the proper curing process of the concrete.
Regional Applications:
Long Island, NY: In this area where the weather can be unpredictable, proper curing temperature of concrete is key. The V004.ACM-CURE ELITE MINI ensures that even during colder months, hydraulic cement concrete matures properly—a requirement for all the construction projects in this busy area.
New Orleans, LA: Being in a humid climate, New Orleans can benefit from the curing box's ability to maintain a consistent and controlled environment to ensure the quality of concrete used in its many construction projects.
Tampa, FL: In Tampa where temperatures can fluctuate especially in winter, the heat function of this curing box is crucial in curing concrete test cylinders at the right temperature regardless of external weather conditions.
Concrete curing is where the rubber meets the road—or rather, where the concrete meets its full strength and durability. In areas with diverse climates like Charleston, South Carolina; Memphis, Tennessee; and Chicago, Illinois, maintaining that ideal curing environment is critical. Charleston's humid subtropical climate means high humidity and temperature fluctuations can disrupt the curing process. A concrete curing box helps stabilize that environment, ensuring the concrete cures uniformly and reaches its maximum strength.
The same goes for Memphis, where temperature fluctuations between seasons can be extreme. A curing box provides a controlled environment that shields the concrete from those temperatures—whether it's the sweltering summer or freezing winter. That control is what prevents rapid drying or freezing, which can cause cracking or weakened structures.
Chicago's cold winters present another challenge for curing. The box protects the specimens from freezing temperatures that can disrupt the hydration process needed for concrete strength development. By maintaining a consistent, favorable curing environment, the box ensures the concrete matures properly—regardless of the harsh external temperatures.
Hydraulic cement concrete gains its strength through the hydration of its cement components. The curing process is where that happens. The V004.ACM-CURE ELITE MINI provides a stable, controlled environment that's exactly what cylinders need to check the concrete's strength and compliance to industry standards.
That's why the V004.ACM-CURE ELITE MINI Mini Concrete Curing Box from Certified MTP is a must-have for the construction industry—especially for hydraulic cement concrete. Its heat function and compact design make it suitable for different settings and climates. Whether you're working on critical infrastructure projects in urban areas like Long Island and New Orleans or developments in climates like Tampa, this box is essential to ensure the quality and reliability of your concrete structures.
Some of the key accessories for the box include concrete transport cylinder racks, which store and transport multiple specimens; a curing tank circulator to improve tank circulation and curing; and a curing tank heater to maintain consistent curing temperatures.
Curing is that critical process in the construction industry where you maintain optimal temperature and humidity conditions to let concrete harden and develop its strength. Concrete curing boxes provide a controlled environment for concrete test specimens to cure. They're designed to meet temperature conditions specified in ASTM C31 and AASHTO T 23 standards.
These boxes come in various models, including those with heating and cooling functionality, as well as economy models with preset temperature control. The deluxe model features a digital readout, temperature set buttons, and indicating lights, making it easy to monitor and control temperature conditions.
Proper initial curing is what develops concrete's strength and durability. Concrete curing boxes provide optimal conditions, with a temperature range of 50°F to 100°F (10°C to 38°C) and humidity control. They feature a lockable lid, dial thermometer and thermostatically controlled heating and cooling functionality.
Overall, concrete curing boxes are an essential tool in the construction industry. By maintaining optimal temperature and humidity conditions, these boxes help ensure concrete structures will have the desired strength and durability. That makes them a crucial investment for any construction project.
