This high-temperature Meker Burner is designed for use with 800-1,200 BTU/CF natural gas, producing an extremely hot and uniform flame. Its construction ensures stability and durability, featuring a nickel-plated, zinc-alloy octagonal base that prevents tipping.
The burner's key component is a one-piece, nickel-plated venturi mixing tube (1.5in / 38mm) equipped with a monel grid and mesh backing. This design creates a uniform, short blue flame with no backlash, ideal for laboratory procedures requiring intense and consistent heat, such as sterilization, ignition, and chemical analysis.
Standing at 8.5 inches (216mm) tall, the lab burner includes a knurled fine-adjustment valve for precise flame control and a 5/16in (7.9mm) OD serrated gas inlet for a secure connection to your gas source.
