FinCap

The patented, non-metallic MAKO FinCap is designed to fit a ½” x 13 threaded rod, which is securely attached to the FinStand. It supports a nominal 1-1/2″ (40 mm) galvanized pipe (schedule 40 or higher) with a 1.5″ ID/1.9″ OD, ensuring reliable performance.

FinStand

Made from impact-resistant material, the FinStand is virtually unbreakable and supports a 1/2″ all-thread. It offers an adjustable height of 1.75″ (45 mm) using a nut and washer, accommodating variations in deck height. The internal “fins” securely grip the rebar or stake to prevent movement during placement. Reference the chart below for the correct rod length based on your desired floor depth.

Base Plate 4.5

The Base Plate 4.5 enhances the versatility of the FinStand system, making it suitable for vapor barriers, concrete overlays, rock, sand, and other substructures. The FinStand easily snaps into the Base Plate and locks securely. The assembly can be fixed in place using screws, nails, construction glue, or other adhesives.

Constructed from impact-resistant material, the Base Plate is virtually unbreakable. Its textured bottom provides a strong grip for adhesives, adding extra stability. In tilt-up applications, it offers a reliable surface for patching.

Setting up the stay-in-place form is simple—just insert a 1/2″ (13 mm) rod between the FinStand and the Base Plate 4.5.
