Laboratory Rotary Grain Divider
Rotary Dividers are fast and accurate to within 1/10th of 1% of the total grain sample by weight. These dividers provide accurate splits, similar to the Boerner divider. These dividers can significantly reduce the length of time it takes one employee to handle and divide larger samples. These dividers eliminate the need to divide samples many times as with the traditional gravity type dividers.
Models 4203 and 4204 have 10 rotary divisions. When placing an order for the 4203 unit, please specify the divisions you require. Any combination of three numbers adding up to 10, for example a division of 3-4-3 or 5-3-2. The bottom hopper collects evenly dispersed grain samples.
The model 4204 again has 10 rotary divisions, but divides the total sample into 4 portions. Any combination of 4 numbers adding up to 10 will tell us the divisions you require for example a division of 4-3-2-1 or 5-1-1-3. This standard divider come with brass pans for the transport of divided samples.
All models meet USDA-AMS/FGIS specifications for an official inspection. The dividers are made from brass plated steel, ensuring they are rust resistant. They are used in local grain inspection offices and meet USDA-FGIS specifications.
The hopper throat and the slide gate located there facilitate the initial separation of grain samples. The grain samples are rejoined into two chutes which empty into the bottom hopper.
These dividers are supplied complete with all necessary components, including two brass pans. The supports are brass plated, ensuring durability and rust resistance. The process of moving a slide gate releases grain samples for accurate splitting.
These dividers are standard dividers used in official inspections. The transport of divided samples is facilitated using the included brass pans.
