To extend the life of the main filter (average lifespan of 3 years, depending on lab conditions), a high-quality polyester fiber pre-filter traps larger particles with 85% arrestance efficiency and minimal pressure loss.

• Interlocking Smart Door System: This intelligent safety feature (registration 10-1451382) links the UV lamp, fluorescent light, and blower to the sash door's position. Opening the door during a UV sterilization cycle automatically deactivates the UV lamp to protect you from exposure, while simultaneously activating the fluorescent lamp and blower.
• Dual Digital Displays: Monitor your experiments with ease. Key information like airflow velocity, internal temperature, and humidity is visible on both an inner and outer display, so you can check the unit's status at a glance without disturbing the internal environment.
• Effortless Maintenance: A digital differential pressure sensor continuously monitors the HEPA filter's condition, clearly indicating when a replacement is needed. Similarly, a UV warning lamp will alert you when the UV lamp's intensity drops below 80%. When it's time for replacement, both filters are housed in convenient, front-accessible cartridges.
• User-Centric Workspace: The work surface is made from durable, rust-free, and easy-to-clean grade 304 stainless steel. For added convenience, a magnetic board on the inner left side is perfect for posting notes or holding small tools. A digital timer allows you to program UV cycles for up to 59 minutes and 59 seconds.

• UV and Impact Protection: The sash door is made from UV-blocking, impact-resistant tempered glass, providing a clear view while keeping you safe.
• Sash Height Alarms: If the sash is opened beyond the recommended safe height during operation, a warning alarm will sound, prompting you to lower it to maintain a sterile environment and protect your samples.
• Automatic UV Cut-Off: For your protection, the UV lamp automatically turns off if the sash is opened during its operation.
• Secure and Smooth Operation: The smoothly sliding front door can be stopped at any height, ensuring user safety and allowing for the easy transfer of equipment into the workspace. The unit is also equipped with over-current protection for electrical safety.
