Triaxial Test Cells for 6.0in (152.4mm) specimens deliver reliable performance for triaxial soil testing and asphalt permeability testing. They operate seamlessly with the Master Control Panel, Auxiliary Control Panel, and compatible equipment from other manufacturers.

Designed for durability, the cells feature valves and fittings made from either robust brass or corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The machined aluminum bases handle heavy loading, while the heavy-wall chambers, available in clear acrylic or aluminum, provide a sturdy 9.625 x 18in (244.5 x 457mm) interior. The stainless steel load piston is precision-ground with internally lubricated U-cup seals and nylon sleeve bearings to minimize friction. Additional features include zero-volume change ball valves and a maximum operating pressure of 100psi (6.9 bar) for standard models or 250psi (17.2 bar) for high-pressure models.

High-Pressure Triaxial Cell models are reinforced for up to 250psi (17.2 bar) and include stainless steel valves and fittings for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance.

The Triaxial Test Cell Kit is required and sold separately. It includes all components for testing 6in specimens, such as an anodized aluminum cap and pedestal, Porous Stones, Latex Membranes, and O-Rings. A 1.5gal Deairing Tank is also recommended and available separately for optimal performance.
