The HANNA INSTRUMENTS HI99171 LEATHER AND PAPER PH PORTABLE METER is a specialized device designed for the non-destructive pH testing of flat surfaces such as leather or paper. This pH meter is perfect for individuals who work with leather or paper products and need a quick and easy way to test pH levels.
The device features the specialized HI14143 probe with a glass body, flat tip, and open junction which makes it ideal for direct pH measurements of flat surfaces. The device comes equipped with solutions and batteries, so you can start measuring right away!
With a pH range of -2.00 to 16.00 pH and an accuracy of ±0.02 pH, you can be sure that your pH readings are accurate. The device also comes with automatic pH calibration at one or two points with two sets of standard buffers, pH 4.01/7.01/10.01 or pH 4.01/6.86/9.18 to ensure consistent and accurate readings.
The meter also features a mV range of ±825 mV (pH-mV) and a temperature range of -5.0 to 105.0 °C/23.0 to 221.0 °F. Temperature compensation is automatic from -5.0 to 105.0 °C/23.0 to 221.0 °F. The meter runs off of 1.5V AAA batteries (3 pcs) that allow for approximately 1400 hours of continuous use.
The meter comes equipped with a rugged carrying case, calibration certificate of meter, calibration certificate of probe, and an instruction manual. Additionally, it comes with a recommended probe, the HI14143 preamplified pH and temperature probe with flat tip, DIN connector and 1m (3.3') cable, making the device efficient and easy to use.
