Hand-Operated Atterberg Liquid Limits Machine
The Liquid Limit defines the water content at which soil changes from a liquid to a plastic state. This is determined with a Liquid Limit machine, designed to measure when two halves of a soil sample flow together after 25 controlled drops.
We offer both motorized and hand-crank-operated Liquid Limit machines to accommodate different needs and budgets. Choose between models with an automatic impact counter for convenience or a more affordable hand-crank option without a counter. Each machine features a durable brass cup and carriage, ensuring a precise 1cm drop onto a rubber base. Drop height adjustments are easily made using the included Casagrande Grooving Tool. The brass cup is attached with a quick-release pin for straightforward cleaning and maintenance. All mechanical components are built with sturdy solid brass, while rubber feet provide stability during use.
Hand-Crank Liquid Limit Machine: A cost-effective option without an automatic counter.
