Gilson CF-1 Continuous-Flow Screen
Continuous-Flow Screen
The Continuous-Flow Screen is a highly versatile and efficient machine, perfect for laboratories and production environments that frequently handle multiple separation tasks. Designed for small-scale scalping, mass separation, and continuous-feed production applications, this machine excels when working with coarse-sized materials. Its innovative vertical-throw action ensures reliable performance for materials ranging from 2in–No.4 (50.0–4.75mm), making it a practical choice for a wide range of industries, including mining, construction, aggregates, and more.
Advanced Design for Precision Separation
The Continuous-Flow Screen features a vertical-throw action optimized for coarse materials, yet it’s adaptable for finer sizes with the addition of a special low amplitude drive shaft. Its adjustable incline (4°–10°) and digitally controlled vibration frequency (up to 650 cycles per minute) enable efficient separation across various particle sizes and materials. This level of adjustability ensures precise screening results, making the machine a standout for operations requiring high versatility.
The unit can accommodate one or two Inclined Screen Trays (sold separately), each with a large 16x24in (406x610mm) screening area. The trays are securely held in place using durable clamp rods and vibrated in an inclined position for smooth, efficient material flow. Tray customization options include stainless steel wire cloth in ASTM E11 sizes ranging from 4in–No.100 (100mm–150µm) or special wire cloth upon request. Additionally, discharge pans can be fitted with an inclined front chute or bottom chute, depending on operational needs.
Powerful and Reliable Performance
Powered by a robust 1/2hp, fan-cooled, totally enclosed motor, the Continuous-Flow Screen ensures durability and consistent performance. It operates on either 115V, 60Hz or 230V, 50Hz, depending on the selected model, providing flexibility for various power requirements. Built with a rugged design, the unit is suitable for continuous, demanding use while maintaining stable operation.
Adaptability for Various Applications
While this machine is not specifically designed for testing applications, it can be adapted for some testing scenarios by setting the incline to its lowest angle and replacing the Inclined Screen Trays with Screen Trays used in Gilson Testing Screens or Test-Master Testing Screens. This flexibility enhances its usability beyond production-focused tasks.
