How It Works

The Fritsch Jaw Crusher utilizes two counteracting grinding jaws equipped with interlocking coarse teeth to crush materials through pressure. The material is fed into the crusher, where it is ground and subsequently falls through a pre-set gap into the collection vessel below.

Precision Crushing and Adjustable Features

The maximum feed size is 60mm (2.36 inches), depending on the material, and the final output size ranges from 1mm to 15mm. The gap width between the crushing jaws is adjustable in 10 stages, allowing precise tuning to achieve the desired particle size while maintaining reproducibility. This feature ensures adaptability to various sample types and optimizes crushing results.

The chamber can be opened within seconds, allowing easy access for cleaning and maintenance. The crushing jaws can also be removed and replaced effortlessly. For enhanced safety and cleanliness, an exhaust system (sold separately) can be attached to remove dust during the grinding process.
